We visited the JOMA High Performance Centre in Landore on Friday, 16 August 2024, to photograph the Under 18 Professional Development League game of the season between Swansea City and Peterborough United.
Swansea City Under-18s earned a point in a thrilling 3-3 draw against Peterborough United in their first home Professional Development League fixture of the season.
Harvey Gray continued his fine form by netting his second goal in as many games, while Ramon Rees-Siso scored twice to secure a late draw for the Swans. Despite twice taking the lead, Swansea found themselves trailing 3-2 in the 87th minute after Andre Chungunda gave the visitors the advantage. However, Rees-Siso’s stoppage-time free-kick salvaged a point for the home side.
Coach Jarred Harvey opted for a youthful line-up, with Gray, 14-year-old Alex Godfrey, and Kai Rhodes all starting, while a promising bench included Alfie Jones, Carter Heywood, Bobo Evans, Kaven Bloniarczyk, and Elis Thomas.
It was a game of fluctuating fortunes, and Swansea showed great character to fight back and earn a share of the spoils in a dramatic finish.
